How does your experiment connect to the gadget you took apart? Explain in at least one paragraph. (1 pt)
In the toaster I was taking Apart there was a switch that was held down by a Electro-Magnet. I seen it I wondered so hard how that Electro-Magnet worked. I very interested in it so it was the part I chose to my expieriment on it. Now I know how it holds it down in the toaster there were many coils I saw so, it was enough to hold down the part to hold the switch down. The Electro-Magnet had held a part down that also held down anohter part down it held the switch down. The coils does affect the Electro-Magnet, it affects the strength of the magnet. I really enjoyed this expieriment it may have took a while but the finished product looks great.
o. Meaning no technology. They seperate themselves from the other people who use technology. They made a really big impact because even themselves need technology like the telephone. That's it, It really seems like it is crazy but they have been surving for many years. The Amish use it from time to time to get in touch with there family members but other wise they don't because it is against there religion. The same way we adapted to technology they adapted without it. It is simple it just there way of living. For them to make it this far there is no problem with the way they are living.Me personally can't live like that if my life depended on it.

There are alot of switches and since i couldn't find out too much about switches my teacher did me a favor and got me some switches from Home Depot and they are switches you would see alot. Like a daily switch to on and turn off your light. There is also a circiut breaker like if in your house the power turns off because therwe is to many things are on and there is a littel closet with a switch that isn't like others and when you flick it all the power comes back on thats a circuit breaker. They hold amps instead of volts. The circuit Breaker is more powerful than your average switch be cause the power you use for a switch it goes straight to the circuit breaker. The electricity flows through the wires to the circuit breaker. These are photos of what i am talkin about.

In class i'm working on taking apart a toaster. Well i have to learn all types of things about and so I decided to let everyone know. Toaster have a big history and i believe everyone should know a bout it because there is a lot of cool thing about it. Well toasting bread goes all the way back, around the time of the Romans. Olong way back huh? The toaster wasn't invented until the late 1800's to the early 1900's. So your probably wondering how was toast being made without a toaster, well the people back then use to take bread and put it over an open fire and let it toast. Sounds like hard times? well they were until Thomas Edison discovered Electricity and years later the toaster was invented. So from now to back then, toaster wise we (as in the U.S) have done well because toaster use to look like hell. Obviously alot because if you look at toaster now you feel like it the future. By looking at this toaster you are probably wondering where the bread goes. That is how much it evolved now some toatser can hold up to 4 peaces of bread. people probably think that now this toaster is obselete because alot the new ones are out. Well now maybe more people can appreciate toaster because it damn near came from nothing. Everyone should thank Thomas Edison Because without him there is no electricity. The world now lives off of electricity.

According to the author, why has New York become such a popular city for Blogging? In his words he said "Blogs are very much at home in the New york city spirit of doing things yourself, instead of depending on a big name to back you up." So he is aying that blogging is something for people trying get all the credit and doing everything from scratch.

What motivates people to keep their own blogs? He also believes he is the king of blogging. He seems like he is cool person because his voice and the way he speaks. There is more to blogging than alot of people know and i believe he knows. The movement can form an electric current in response to an electric field.

electrical insulator-An Insulator is a material or object which resists the flow of electric charge.

http://www.Ask.com

Make sure to include your sources.

How can YOU define these in your own words based on our experiment with batteries, bulbs, wires, and different materials? How can you test to determine whether a material is a conductor or an insulator? How do you know when a circuit is a CLOSED circuit?

A circuit is when the electricity travel fom onr point to the other but it has to be all connected. If the alligator clips reach each other on the object but the light bulbs don't come on it is a insulator. If the light does cut on that means it is a conductor. If you want to know if the circuit is closed the light bulbs will turn on thats how you know which is a closed circuit.

How do these concepts apply to your object? What parts are made of conductors? Insulators? How did you know? Are any circuits are present? How can you tell? Use pictures to explain, if you want.

Well it connects pretty well because it can tell me which is a conductor and which is an insulator. The reflector pans are big part of the object and i had already tested it so it is a conductor. Some of the wiring was considered a insulator. Mainly metalic things were conductor and other's were insulator.

What do you think a semiconductor is? Predict the meaning....Then look it up. Are there any semi-conductors in your object. Where? What parts are made of semi-conductors and what special roles do they play?

A semiconductor is a ... maybe a conductor that gives less electricty than a normal one would give. A semiconductor is a material with an electrical conductivity that is intermediate between that of an insulator and a conductor.(this is the real meaning) My object is a toaster on the coils of the toaster when i put the alligator clips on them only one light bulb came on so i think that may be a semiconductor. In the coils they held a pair of ceramic insulators so i guess a little electricity came out.

Andrew
Krystal
Damian
Diana
Linda
Nicole
Luper
Ashley
Zack
Matthew
Alexis
Ashlyn
melody

<!--The code below indicates the TABLE HEADINGS (th). Small, big large and metal and smooth working pieces of work

world's largest plasma television, and the world's smallest cellular phone.

list key language you hear or read:

I heard chinese and american because most of this stuff is mad in china and is now being brought into amerca.

describe textures you feel or see:

Metal and smooth operated objects.

describe colors or color schemes you see:

Silver and black maily but on the cetral park expierience it was colorful

describe common shapes you see:

Alot of rectangled or things that were squares

size.Does it seem to matter, and in which products?

It depends because the small and big things were cool

Other observations:

b) Inferences: What are we being asked to believe about ourselves in relationship to technology? What values are behind the technology? Justify your inferences based on observation. State any prior assumptions you are making:

Well to try and accept something besides mankind like computer and we are somewhat adapting to technology. Without technology life would suck thats why this is a great value and we should appreciate it.

2) What is your reaction to the “Samsung Experience?” Describe any shifts that occurred in your emotional and physical state when you arrived. Try to explain the cause of these feelings.3) Of the different products you have observed, which do you think has/will most change the way humans live in the future? Name it and explain your thinking.

The expierience was a cool thing to see and techn ology is getting better.
